Harry James Angus is one of Australia’s most prolific, creative and interesting musicians, lending his formidable talents as a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer to a dizzying array of projects. In recent years, Harry has fronted and trumpeted for hit outfit The Cat Empire, formed one half of indie electro-pop duo Jackson Jackson, and lead jazz troupe The Harry Angus Band. He has also become a noted composer, writing scores for TV shows such as Small-Time Gangster, the ABC's Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries and the Jack Irish movies. In early 2012, Harry composed the theme song to the Australian Football League's newest team, the Greater Western Sydney Giants, and in 2013 contributed music to the film My Mistress. Harry has demonstrated a deep understanding of and passion for early jazz music, and the ability to score it for contemporary drama.
