Album announce: Cat Power

Prolific songwriter Cat Power has announced her new album 'Wanderer' by teasing first single of the same name. Wanderer, the first album in 6 years will be released on the 5th of October via Domino Records, Published by Beggars Publishing, sub-published by Gaga Music.

When speaking about the album (Chan) Marshall says: “The course my life has taken in this journey—going from town to town, with my guitar, telling my tale; with reverence to the people who did this generations before me. Folk singers, blues singers, and everything in between. They were all wanderers, and I am lucky to be among them.”

Last year, Cat Power said on Instagram that her new record was “ready to go.” She recently played a special show celebrating the 20th anniversary of 1998’s Moon Pix including a very special program at this years Vivid at the Sydney Opera House.
